Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Shanghai
Position: Full Time
Reporting to: Associate Creative Director

Responsibilities:

  • Take briefs as part of a wider creative team and help generate ideas to present back to the Chief Creative Officer or Associate Creative Director
  • Have a good knowledge and the ability to execute a range of different design styles and layouts
  • Assist senior graphic designers on various print, online and on-site projects
  • Coordinate and prepare final artwork with printers and suppliers as required

The Successful Candidate:

  • Must be fluent in Chinese (Chinese National is preferred) and English (professional level)

  • Strong layout skills (colour, typography and composition)
  • Can work independently and as part of a team

Intern - Graphic Design

Location: Shanghai

We’re looking for several passionate, energetic and ambitious individuals to join us as design interns.

Project Manager

Location: Shanghai

We’re looking to recruit a project management superstar who will join our team and be on a bunch of exciting projects. This will include from creative and branding, to spatial designs across retail luxury, lifestyle and/or hospitality brands in Greater China.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced working environment and loves managing multiple live projects at any given time. The ideal candidate will be client’s first point of contact, so it’s important that this individual has solid account management skills including developing and nurturing sound relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams. This ideal candidate will be mature enough to able to handle tough negotiations with clients and/or partners, while obtaining a favourable outcome for the Agency. In addition, the ideal candidate needs have a can-do attitude, able to read between the lines of communications, stay organised, be strategic, and able to think on their feet to resolve problems, while maintaining their cool when things don’t turn out the way they should.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Client Management:

  • Ability to build and foster client relationship and explore new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Gain the Client’s trust at all levels and demonstrate an understanding of their business
  • Independently manage client expectations to foster effectiveness and productivity
  • Lead client meetings including briefing all involved parties (Creative, Design and other departments) of status updates, priorities, challenges and client feedback;

Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the marketing plan across key markets, channels and platforms. This includes leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, while leveraging internal support and driving collaboration, to ensure our marketing programs meet specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Staying abreast of industry news, technology and innovation trends to ensure that the Agency is always delivering exceptional creative branding strategies and solutions for our clients and community

Marketing Interns

People & Culture Specialist

In your role, you will be responsible for :

HR Initiatives: Working closely with Finance Manager and CEO/Founding Partner to facilitate all HR matters including:

  • Driving the HR recruitment process including but not limited to organizing candidates for interview, preparing job descriptions, posting on recruitment platforms, providing administrative support, completing reference checks, facilitating position negotiations as required and so forth;
  • Preparing offer letters and labor contracts for new employees, including contracts with freelancers, interns and so forth;
  • Responsible for managing New Employee On-boarding & Employee Exit Procedure to ensure that all the documentation and necessary steps are followed through prior to the employee starting & ending their employment with the Agency;
  • Supporting the Agency’s team activities, such as internal communications, staff engagement surveys, team birthdays and other company events
  • Handling staff social security and housing provident fund matters;
  • Managing the Agency’s visa process for all foreign employees relating to their in-country work/residence permits.
  • Ensuring all employee records are updated, including but not limited to staff/sick leave and so forth;
  • Regularly review and stay updated with new HR policies and ensure that the Agency’s HR policies are relevant and updated;

Front Desk Brand Ambassador: Completing a broad variety of administrative tasks that boost the overall reputation and professionalism of the Agency, including but not limited to:

  • Replenishing office materials such as snacks, printer supplies, paper, office supplies, etc.

Project Executive

Reporting to: Client Services Director

 

We are looking for a Project Executive to join our team to help support all aspects of clients’ projects, as assigned.

These include:

  • Ownership of client project timelines and the success of client projects
  • Assisting the Project Lead with managing day-to-day communications with clients and internal teams in relation to the pitch, brief, strategy, design cycle to production
  • Leading and owning weekly project timelines, client reports and meeting agendas
  • Identifying and liaising with all third-party production partners for all projects.
  • Being the main point of contact for communication with vendors and clients for assigned projects. This includes negotiating with third-party vendors regarding pricing and deliverables.
  • Recognizing risks and applying creative problem skills to help mitigate risks. This includes raising bottlenecks and challenges to the Project Lead as soon as the risks are identified.
  • Attending on-site meetings as required
  • Assisting in other tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will be required to have :

  • Minimum 2-4 years of AGENCY project management experience, working on all types of creative campaigns.

3D CGI Artist

Our design department is in search of a 3D CGI Artist to join us immediately! The successful candidate can and will create stunning 3D models and environments, that will be used to create engaging motion graphics. We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of 3D software programs such as 3DMax, C4D, and Blender. In addition to this, the successful candidate will also have a strong professional background; is highly creative; and can work collaboratively. Web Editor / Social Copy Writer (English Content)

We are looking for an experienced web editor / social content writer who has a demonstrated track record in curating, producing and publishing new content in creative ways. Part of the role will also involve liaising with clients, brands, partners and our in-house creative team to decide on new posts, and overseeing the final look and feel of the content. We are looking for a passionate web editor to research, plan, write and edit web content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching, planning, writing and editing web and social content so that it is SEO optimised
  • Producing and publishing content in a creative way that appeals and resonates with our community
  • Liaising with clients, brand partners and our in-house creative on new post topics and content
  • Ensuring that the Agency’s brand messaging, look and feel on all public-facing material is consistent across all online marketing channels

Business Development Manager

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Position: Part-Time Contract (2-3 Days a week)

Job Overview:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to work on a contract basis 2 to 3 days per week to support The Orangeblowfish in continuing to develop our stakeholder relationships within the UK/China ecosystem and expanding our network of partners. This role requires exceptional networking skills, a deep understanding of the Chinese market, and a proven track record in building and maintaining successful business relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Build on existing stakeholder mapping, and continue to identify key stakeholders, potential partners, and market trends.
  • Develop and execute our quarterly strategic plan to expand The Orangeblowfish network of partners within the UK/China ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.

Client-work

  • Acts as a catalyst to the creative team in seeking out new ways to add value to the brand and in identifying future opportunities;

3D Artist

Our design department is in search of a 3D Artist to join us on an immediate basis. You will be responsible for creating 3D artworks using various modeling and texturing techniques. You will be coordinating with the Executive Creative Director and Design Operations Director in understanding the design requirements and offering suggestions accordingly.

The ideal candidate needs to have demonstrated the ability to develop creative ideas and illustrate them will be required to gather customer feedback and make improvements in your designs. As part of the larger design team, you will be coordinating with the other team members in giving the finishing touches to client design projects. As a 3D Artist, it is expected that you have complete knowledge of various 3D modeling software.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be required to have a strong professional background; is highly creative; and can work collaboratively. Your ability to manage deadlines and offer excellent customer service will be an added advantage.
