Creative Content Writer (English and Chinese)
Location: Shanghai
Position: Full Time
Reporting to: Associate Creative Director
Are you great with words? Do you love being in a fun and creative environment, and working on a bunch of different projects?
We are in need for creative content writers who are strong in research, writing, editing, proofreading and has experience in writing a range of content. The content will include copy for client projects, blogs, social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat), and so forth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to produce and deliver punchy and engaging copy on a regular basis.
- Edit, proofread and improve English and Chinese content as required
- Manage and oversee the content quality for all projects ensuring that the work we deliver is on brand, fun and engaging
- Create case studies, infographics, marketing decks and other content as required, to drive more followers to our own branded platforms
- Identify opportunities for co-branded content with partners, media and other relevant channels as required
- Research and stay up-to-date with latest content marketing trends.
- If you have SEO experience, even better!
The Successful Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media & Communications, or any related industry field
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a multinational firm with a strong design focus
- Previous experience in copywriting and a demonstrated ability to successfully take a brief and create engaging copy in English and Chinese
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required.
- A willingness to learn and work hard to get it right
- An ability to work on multiple projects, and still deliver the highest quality of work
- An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Graphic Design Interns
Location: Shanghai
Position: Min. 4 days per week
Reporting to: Associate Creative Director
We’re looking for several passionate, energetic and ambitious individuals to join us as design interns.
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing with us:
- Assist our creative team in all aspects of graphic design and learn what it takes to manage a client project from start to finish
- Facilitate and help manage the partners and suppliers we work with
- Gain a better understanding of the design to application process
More importantly, have fun, and share your passion and creative ideas for great design with a very talent team who love what they do!
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related design-based major
- Strong understanding and fluency in using design programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Some experience and familiarity with using other design programs is also valued, although not necessary
- Fluent in Chinese
- Be able to converse including reading and writing in English on a professional level

Junior Graphic Designer
Location: Shanghai
Position: Full Time
Reporting to: Associate Creative Director
Responsibilities:
- Take briefs as part of a wider creative team and help generate ideas to present back to the Chief Creative Officer or Associate Creative Director
- Have a good knowledge and the ability to execute a range of different design styles and layouts
- Assist senior graphic designers on various print, online and on-site projects
- Coordinate and prepare final artwork with printers and suppliers as required
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, plus proofing skills
- Ability to prioritize projects, as well as work under pressure to meet deadlines, and across multiple projects
- Image research
- Maintain project and image files
- Have a desire to learn new graphic design and illustration applications
- Think proactively on behalf of the agency, considering new design/digital initiatives, trends and tools on forthcoming projects
- Be a passionate, resourceful and helpful team player
- Help with ongoing pitch work
The Successful Candidate:
- Must be fluent in Chinese (Chinese National is preferred) and English (professional level)
- At least 1-2 years working experience in a graphic design role, preferably in an international agency
- Strong background in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong layout skills (colour, typography and composition)
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Have a good understanding of print media, digital media, branding and interactive design
- A willingness to stay current: keeping skills and knowledge update to industry trends

Marketing Manager
Location: Shanghai

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our headquarters in Shanghai. We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong global network who will drive extraordinary business value for our Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the marketing plan across key markets, channels and platforms. This includes leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, while leveraging internal support and driving collaboration, to ensure our marketing programs meet specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Staying abreast of industry news, technology and innovation trends to ensure that the Agency is always delivering exceptional creative branding strategies and solutions for our clients and community
- Conducting social listening and analytics reporting across multiple platforms whilst extracting key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
- Continuously refining branded content, marketing assets and our overall marketing programs that enhance our marketing efforts
- Establishing and nurturing global and local partnerships and alliances to drive key online and offline events (webinars, co-branding initiatives, podcasts, interviews, client events and so forth) that will boost our overall industry leadership positioning internationally
- Leading innovative marketing initiatives leveraging our existing community and database to nurture existing client relationships and drive new business including newsletters, thought leadership pieces, industry news that will add value to our community
- Partnering with creative to test, refine and enhance our brand communications including print, digital, and video assets
- Collaborating with the Content Strategist to curate and manage branded content which includes all branded online platforms as well as updates for customer and internal touch points.
- Collaborating with senior management to be responsible for the annual marketing budget, project timelines, deliverables and planning of resources

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ working experience in creative, brand or marketing field
- Experience working in an international working environment – creative/branding agency preferred
- Understands the overall China and international marketing landscape
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns with success, and driving business value
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently, and ask for support when required
- Ability to work under pressure, on a million things, yet still be able to keep their cool
- Ability to present and manage senior level clients
- An appreciation for metrics-driven marketing programs
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid copywriting skills for marketing and social purposes in English and Chinese
- Proficiency in SEO / SEM, digital marketing and social media strategy
- Sound knowledge of key digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, Douyin, and so forth.
- Experience with WordPress and/or Photoshop or video editing skills will be a plus
- Established press and media contacts will be a plus

Project Executive
Location: Shanghai
Position: Full Time
Reporting to: Project Manager
We are looking for Project Executives to join our team to help support all aspects of clients’ projects for our retail and hospitality portfolios.
These include:
- Ownership of client project timelines and the success of client projects
- Assisting the Project Manager with managing day-to-day communications with clients and internal teams in relation to the pitch, brief, strategy, design cycle to production
- Leading and owning weekly project timelines, client reports and meeting agendas
- Identifying and liaising with all third-party production partners for all projects.
- Being the main point of contact for communication with internal teams, vendors and clients for assigned projects. This includes negotiating with third-party vendors regarding pricing and deliverables.
- Recognising risks and applying creative problem skills to help mitigate risks. This includes raising bottlenecks and challenges to the Project Manager as soon as the risks are identified.
- Attending on-site meetings as required
- Assisting in other tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will be required to have :
- Minimum 2-4 years of design agency project management experience, especially managing international clients.
- A strong understanding of the creative process
- A strong client-facing ability, ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, dealing with working under pressure whilst delivering high quality results to meet client and team expectations
- Good reputation when it comes to servicing clients, be presentable and able to clearly communicate effective and work with cross-cultural teams

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
- Helping with research on the latest news and trends in China, pertaining to specific categories and needs. Key sectors include hospitality, retail and real estate.
- Brainstorming and researching original content ideas and leading the execution
- Supporting the creative and project teams on following up on project requirements
- Assisting with photo/video content shoots and post-editing (as required)
- Helping in the creation and distribution of social media content across English and local platforms.
- Helping with marketing and project-related tasks as required.
- Pulling together reporting documents as required
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor and/project leads.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media & Communications, or any related major. Passionate and curious of creativity and advertising.
- Experience in using social media platforms such as WeChat, RED, LinkedIn, Instagram, WordPress, Buffer and more.
- Minimum of 4 days per week; and on-site in Shanghai is preferred.
- Fluency in Chinese skills is a plus!
- Native English skills (reading, writing and speaking)
- Photography or video editing skills are also a plus!
