We’re shortlisted, and proud of the impact behind it!

We’re excited to share that The Orangeblowfish has been shortlisted at the 2026 Transform Awards for our work on WildAid China’s 20th Anniversary Brand Identity.

2026 Transform Asia Shortlist Badge

One Mark. Millions of Lives.

When WildAid China approached us to celebrate two decades of conservation, we knew a commemorative logo wouldn’t be enough.

After all, 20 years of protecting endangered species deserves more than a badge. It deserves a story.

The inspiration came from fingerprints.

Every species leaves a mark. Every individual leaves a mark. Every action leaves a mark.

That simple idea became United Fingerprints, a visual identity built around connection, protection and collective responsibility. Fingerprint-inspired linework was transformed into a dynamic visual language, bringing together six endangered species central to WildAid China’s mission: the tiger, elephant, rhino, pangolin, shark and sea turtle.

The result is an identity system that celebrates both individuality and unity, reminding us that while each species is unique, their future is deeply interconnected.

Turning an Anniversary Into a Movement

At the heart of the design sits the number 20.

But rather than simply celebrating a milestone, we used it as a canvas to tell a bigger story.

Within the anniversary mark, wildlife, nature and sustainability are woven together through layered illustrations, environmental symbolism and species-inspired forms. The more you look, the more you discover.

Just like conservation itself.

From habitat-inspired graphics and native Chinese flora to renewable energy and nature-positive imagery, every detail was intentionally crafted to reflect WildAid China’s mission and vision for the future.

The identity was designed to flex seamlessly across events, exhibitions, merchandise, social content and campaign communications, creating a visual ecosystem rather than a one-off logo.

Because great design doesn’t just communicate.

It invites people in.

“We didn’t want to create an anniversary logo that simply looked back. We wanted to create something that celebrated WildAid China’s achievements while reminding people that conservation is an ongoing story, not a finished chapter.

The fingerprint became a powerful metaphor. Every species leaves a unique mark, and every one of us has a role to play in protecting them. Turning that idea into a visual system that could live across multiple touchpoints was both a creative challenge and an incredibly rewarding opportunity,” says Siu Tang, our chief creative officer.

“The most exciting projects are the ones where design can do more than communicate. They can educate, inspire and create an emotional connection, “says Natalie Lowe, our CEO& and Founding Partner.

Design With Purpose.

At The Orangeblowfish, we’re passionate about creating brands and experiences people remember.

This project challenged us to create something visually distinctive while carrying genuine meaning. A design that honours 20 years of conservation impact while inspiring action for the next 20.

We’re honoured to see the work recognised by the Transform Awards and grateful to WildAid China for trusting us with such an important story to tell.

Because the best creative work doesn’t just look good.

It leaves a mark!

Thank you to Transform Asia and all the judges for this shortlist!

P.S. This isn’t our first appearance at the Transform Awards Asia. Previous recognition includes Gold for Arc’teryx ReBird (2023) and Silver for Moxy Xi’an (2022) in the Best Brand Experience category.

Awards aren’t the goal.

Creating ideas people remember, experiences people talk about and brands that move markets? That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning.
