TOBF celebrates first award win with Transform Asia
The 2021 Transform Awards honors and rewards the most innovative, creative and successful brand work across the world. At this year’s eighth annual Transform Awards Asia, The Orangeblowfish took home Highly Commended in the Best Brand Experience Category for our client work produced for the Budweiser Drop 158 Festival.
Brands and agencies who entered the Transform Awards were benchmarked against peers and ranked amongst the best of the best industry standards. This judging process ensures that excellence is recognized across the whole brand development process to help agencies like The Orangeblowfish to push creative and strategic boundaries.
“This is our first year entering Transform Asia Awards and we’re once again extremely pleased to be taking home an award for Budweiser, where we designed and developed a completely new interactive car race video game called “Drop the Beat” that was played at Found 158 by consumers.” commented Natalie Lowe, Managing Partner of The Orangeblowfish.
“Drop the Beat” was built on a futuristic city in which bars and nightclubs could introduce their brand on buildings and signage. At the center of the game was the Budweiser brand: it’s title, “Drop the Beat”, with a play on the word “Drop”. Building on Budweiser’s long-time association with Electronic Dance Music, where a ‘drop’ is a change in rhythm, the game had a unique feature: it was sound reactive.
This is our third award received for Budweiser project in 2021. We also won awards from China Top Digital, and SABRE ASIA Awards.
